Food Sharing #79 - Smith Lakes Bakehouse

Hi Everyone,

We love bakery food and what is best at bakeries in Australia is they have pies, sausage rolls etc - all the yummy hot food. Of course there are the usual bread, cakes and coffees if you want to get the traditional things. Today, I’m taking you to a more old style bakery in an Australia town.

Here you find the old style bakery with only a limited choice on bread depending what the bakery decide to bake on the day and the old school hot food which I love. Let’s have a look at what he made today. No donuts which I was actually wanting but there are some cupcakes, cheese and bacon rolls, pizza bread, traditional rolls and loaf breads, croissants etc

We ended up getting a pink cupcake, croissant and a vegetable pastie. I really wanted a meat pie but they sold out and the other pies were flavours I don’t like. The price here is pretty expensive considering its in the country and the 3 things I paid for $10.50. There weren’t a lot of variety but everything there is freshly made on the day. What do you like to eat the most from the bakery?

Not sure why Google says its permantly closed but the bakery was there this year when we visited.
