Joma Bakery Cafe.
It is so hard to see a cafe operating airconditioner in old city of hanoi. This is one of them. We ordered Butterfly lemonade and Mango fluitshake. It is enough to make us cool and feel better. Today I will introduce Joma Bakery Cafe.
I really like Joma. The bakery goods are fresh and warmed up. The Latte is always perfect and with a nice touch of art work. It all just works so i spend more of my late mornings there luxuriating in the moments. If you visit Hanoi and want a bakery with a nice get away from the rush of the old quarter duck in here. You will feel the peace and quiet and you might as well get a latte and some pastry. You deserve it!
“Classic” doesn’t come close to describing what a warm brownie with ice cream on top means to a Canadian. It means summer picnics, mama’s best recipe, birthday parties, and after school snacks. There are many types of brownie, but we feel that our Joma brownie hits that perfect chocolate-soft-chewy-brownie spot. And with our homemade vanilla ice cream on top, well, there may not be any brownies left by the time you get there! What kind of warm memories come to mind when you have a brownie?! 🍫🍨❤️
The first reaction you may have to this Joma Bakery, in particular, is that its tablespace is very limited as you will only see a hallway with a few tables. However, continue walking and you'll find another room filled with tables and chairs and couches for you to sit on. Although the Joma is located within the Old Quarter - especially in a very busy, touristy area -, it is not crowded with tourists and not ever chaotic. I find it actually calmer than many Jomas in Hanoi. You can definitely get some studying done here as there seems to always be other people who are also doing work.
