Best Breakfast: Delicious Shao Mai

Hello dear food lovers. Few weeks ago I had a nice Shao Mai (dumpling) breakfast with a friend at Ha Wai Tian Coffee House. The place is located at Luyang Commercial Centre, about 5 minutes drive from Kota Kinabalu city.

Ha Wai Tian Coffee House is just an ordinary coffee shop, without air-condition but the food and place condition are clean and comfortable.

Here is the menu displaying price of drinks available in the restaurant. There are no food menu available. Customer can choose varieties of Shao Mai (pork dumpling) at one tables at the center of the restaurant or they can just wait at their table for the waitress to bring tray full of Shao Mai.

I choose three types of Shao Mai and one Kai Kiok (chicken feet). They are all delicious. Each of these food cost about RM3.00 (USD0.72)

This chicken feet is one of the famous food here. It's deep-fried and cooked and soaked with special sauce to make it really delicious to eat. My friend really love it. She said this chicken feet is full of collagen.

For drinks, I ordered this Tea C Kosong panas or hot Milk Tea without sugar. A perfect combination of drinks to go with the Shao Mai. This drinks priced RM2.00 (USD 0.48) each.

Overall, I really love the Shao Mai here. Varieties of Shao Mai available with reasonable price. The place is clean and service is fast and courteous. Good place to have a nice and cheap breakfast with friends.
