Japanese Tea Ceremony part 1

Tea is widely consumed all around China and has much culture around it. Japan is another country that has much of its cultural heritage embedded into various ceremonies and procedures. A formal tea ceremony is often seen in Japan and I had the pleasure to dive a little deeper into what this entails.

It’s very easy to get lost in the very depths of Japanese culture. I would say that it is a country that is rich in both modern pop and historical value. Tea ceremonies belong to the latter and would emerge shortly after the introduction of tea from china. During this period many ties were formed and trade was a norm between the two nations.
