In case you haven’t heard, there are a bunch of awesome Aussies who are creating a new platform called Blockdeals. I want to be clear that I’m not a member of the team, but I am a member of their unofficial fan club. Here’s why:

1. This is the first Team Australia initiative I’ve come across to develop a new interface on the steem blockchain. There are some quality Aussie members of our steem community behind this, and it’s really encouraging to see! So let’s get behind them!

2. I believe in their strategy. They’ve identified a market segment which is DIFFERENT to some of the other social media dAPPS on the chain so far. They aren’t trying to be another YouTube, twitter, facebook alternative - they are aiming to expand into another space. (Read more about it in their intro post )

So how can you help?

They have just written a post explaining why they need delegated steem power. They don’t need it forever, and you don’t need to delegate a lot. If you want more info about this means, just ask in the comments below.

My message is short and sweet

Like a lot of people, I came to steemit knowing nobody here. But I quickly noticed the teamaustralia tag and was welcomed by the teamaustralia community. Individually, most of us are just minnows, but together we can do cool shit. So lets get behind these guys and show the world what team Australia can do!
