Backyard half pipe

A classic photo i found from the bmx days, its a photo of my brother who runs @westcoasteagles hes doing a toboggan air or as thoes in the biz call it T bog air. Im in the back ground sitting down with the sling on this was after i had a shoulder operation. We had a few friends around with a bbq for a bmx jam was a great day.

This half pipe was in our back yard me and my brother got some free plywood from his work at the time so we decided to make a full sized half pipe. We make the first quarter in the shed as it was winter this was a stupid idea as the shed wasn't big enough and it was make in sections and put together out side which made it weaker and wobbly. Then by the time summer rolled around we had more plywood to make the other side. We made it out side in the burning sun but it was a much better ramp. I think we ended up spending over $1000 on screws and wood so we went way over budget.

At one point we got a big think sheet of chipboard and put a bench under it and made the dodgiest hip known to man haha it was soo bad it was like landing on a big sponge but was alot of fun. big dipped 270's :P

In the end we both moved out of my dads house and he didnt want it just sitting there so was gave it away to the perth bmx community.
