Team Australia Charity Idea

Gday Everyone,

With so many awesome innitiaves going on to raise funds for the Team Australia Charity Fund, its about time we actually nut out a goal. Big shout outs to @jackmiller and the proceeds of @bearone footer collections.

My suggestion is to go big this time, but to also do something nationwide. So what I'm proposing is that we organise defibrillators for community groups that aren't well funded, I'm thinking like Mens Sheds etc.

But instead of doing a bunch in 1 state, each of our active states QLD, NSW, VIC, SA and WA each find a worthy recipient in their communities. They don't all need to be the same club of course, as that would be a decision for the people in each state as to who would be benefit.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, and lets get something in place.

For your reference, we currently have 381 Steem and 218SBD sitting in savings in Team Australia, which is approximately $1800USD.

I'm going to start posting at least once a week on the Team Australia account to start bringing in some more rewards that way, if everyone can up their votes on that, or add that account to the Steemvoter auto votes, that will go a long way to raising some extra funds. All further communication will come from @teamaustralia. If anyone wants to do a guest post or donate some content to Team Australia, please drop me a message in Discord as that would be greatly appreciated.
