Rob Jesudason quits CBA to join EOS as COO

Commonwealth Bank CFO Rob Jesudason has joined Block.One, the company that publishes EOSIO blockchain software and the seller of EOS tokens. Jesudason will be the group president and overlook a board of directors. Earlier on 14th May he resigned as the CFO and the bank has issued a statement saying Jesudason is moving to Hong Kong to pursue a career.

In a statement released by Block.One on twitter, Jesudason was welcomed onboard as the COO and President. Jesudason will be a member of the board of directors of EOS and will overlook scaling the company's global operations. EOS is the fifth largest crypto currency with a market capitalisation of USD 12 Billion.

In a statement released by Block.One, Jesudason said:

Block.one’s technological innovation enables fast, low-cost, and scalable blockchain performance and is laying the groundwork for mass adoption of these new technologies.<

Jesudason quit CBA, a global top-12 bank with market capitalisation of $125 Billion. He was managing Financial Services overseeing group finance, audit, treasury, security, property and investor relations. EOS is trading at $19.5 on CoinSpot in Australia.

it's very interesting that one of the leaders of the biggest bank is abandoning banking and turning to crypto... I don't know what to make of it to be honest..

More financial jobs being created in this sector. It's more challenging and exciting. Who wouldn't quit their banking role to do something radical. He will have fun, learn new things, meet new people. And he will bring in all his expertise into the crypto scene. It's a complete win-win. We want more banking leaders to leave and join this sector. :) It will happen regardless.
