Whole Malaysia Awaits!!
6 PM strikes and the whole Malaysia awaits the final announcements from Istana Negara as Pakatan Harapan won the simple majority to run the country. It's a very important day for Malaysia as we're about to get a new government for the first time in 61 years!
Malaysia is like undergoing a rebirth through this election and everyone is excited about it. All the news on my Facebook feed and Steemit feed are all about this.
@elizacheng, @joannewong and I are enjoying our tea just outside the balcony, enjoying the beauty of KL and watching the live stream on what's happening on the other side. As today is the holiday that was announced, traffic is superbly smooth on all the road.
Update 1: Now the ceremony is postponed until 9.30PM. Delay.. delay.. delay... What more trick you have on your sleeves?
Update 2: At 10.30PM and it's official, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad will be the 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia with a new form of government. Fresh start for Malaysia and Malaysian!
