Nam Heong Chicken Siew Paus
Went to Starling Mall today at Uptown to pick up my aunt and mom. They were out shopping and catching up as they haven’t seen each other in awhile. I joined them for lunch and we caught up abit on what’s going on with our lives, then proceeded to walk the mall for abit.
I was afraid that we might feel a little hungry in an hour or so after leaving, so I suggested to takeaway some snacks on our way to the carpark. We passed by the Nam Heong Ipoh restaurant and the smell of Paus just dominated the scents in our noses.
Naturally, we walked into the restaurant to take away some siew paus, all seduced by the scents of this beautiful confectionary. We got 5 Siew Paus, as there was a buy 5 free 1 promotion that was going for only 17RM.
Went back home after that and I immediately dug in on our paus. The crispy skin, coupled with the beautifully seasoned chicken fillings- What a burst of flavor!
