Traditional food is one of the major tourist attractions of Sabah. For tourists who are fond of traditional foods, they are incomplete if they do not feel food here.

- Hinava
Among the popular food in Sabah is Hinava. Usually, this ancient tradition of food is processed or cooked without oil. The traditional food will be boiled, baked and pickled.
Hinava is one of the traditional food of the Kadazandusun community.
Hinava is a salad of marinated fish with lemon, salt, chili and chopped onions and ginger.

- Noonsom
Noonsom is one of the finest traditional dishes for the Kadazan-Dusun tribe in Sabah or better known as Jeruk in Malay. There are several types of Noonsom in Kadazandusun cuisine, among the most popular are Noonsom Sada (Fish), Noonsom Bambangan (fruit) and Noonsom Tuhau (dish).
- Sinalau
SINALAU: Fired on fire, BAKAS: Kinzir / Babi Sinalau or manalau is a traditional way for the Dusun community to preserve food whether it is a wild boar or any kind of animal. This method is used so that the cut meat is not damaged and can still be eaten even if it is stored for longer periods. Roasting and baking is a different method, burning means that the food is burned to eat immediately while stirring is the process of drying the meat so as not to break.
- Kon Loh Mee and Mee Soup
Kon Loh Mee and Mee Soup are also popular sausages especially in Kota Belud and are increasingly popular in Peninsular Malaysia. Kon Loh Mee and Mee Sup are available in Kadazan Dusun and Chinese food shops.
