Venue Hunting for "Block Party" Malaysia 2018 [Fundition]
It's never easy searching for the perfect venue, especially when it's an occasion that is happening for the first time and you don't really know what to expect. I've probably done at least a few hundred events in my life, many of them Hip Hop or Music related and this isn't that much different, aside from being a new demographic focused on the wonderful people I've met over the last few years in the Blockchain scene in Malaysia.
Do we really need an excuse to Party?
In our project information on @fundition I talk about the need to connect community outside of the context of "Meet Up" or "Conference" and the importance of celebrating the contributions of everyone involved. But it's more than just a party, it's the beginning of something BIGGER!
That should probably read "Go Big or Stay Home"! But BIG is not always better and such is the case with our current venue hunt. We're looking for a place that can fit between 150-200 people, some cocktail tables and a small stage for the music and performances. In fact I've already got my eye on one particular location that I'll be going to see very soon. It's all about options if you want to find that ideal venue to suit the occasion and there are a few others that are waiting on deck just in case!
We've got just over 2 month so the hunt is on!
