It was today 19 Sept 1963- Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore join the federation of Malaya and become Malaysia 🇲🇾.

Thou Singapore left a year later, Sabah and Sarawak still remain in the Federation til today.

I remember vividly during primary school that we were told that Sabah and Sarawak is one of the state in Malaysia 🇲🇾. However, as i grow older to my working adult stage, thru lots of politics shared in social media, i realize that Sabah and Sarawak is one of the 3 partner JOIN with Malaya and not one of the 14 states.
