Malaysia Peoples Choice | A New Beginning - PART 2
This is the continuation of my recent thoughts in Malaysia GE14, you may click Here to read the Part 1.
A new beginning it is for all Malaysian. A fresh of breath air it is. Even during meet up at coffe shop around my area, many smiling faces and hsaring good thoughts about the opposition winning the electionand take over the government. we can see business start giving free coffee and tea, offering discounts and also closed for 2 days following the Pakatan Harapan announcement of 2 days holiday.
The question is now is to see Pakatan Harapan (PH) to fulfill thier manifesto, a lot at stake , many people give their votes to PH is because to see changes in policy and number one policy that the people want to see is to abolisg Goverment Service Tax (GST). Since the inception of GST, many businesses has closed especially in Labuan, many senior old business owners could not adapt and accept the implementation thus to called it a day of close. We could not deny the fact even the people feel the pinch on GST.
I stronly believe PH will do according to thier manifesto, they have waited too long to be the goverment and will not jeopardise their popularity and i stronly to say there are here to stay atr least a nother 2 mmore terms. Reality right now, we need a strong opposition too, a check balance of between each other is crucial. We need the current opposition now to be the Strong Opposition for the people.
Once again with all people saying great, congratulations with each other. Life goes on now. Work goes on, and our family as well goes on. Its teh time right now to be a better Malaysian. To be proactive with ourself, genuine, kind and loving to each other regardsles of race and religion. Its starts from the people, if we have the best government but the people is sucks, it is still no point to become a better Malaysia.
Ladies and Gentlemen, i conclude here my heartful journey in this GE14, and see you in GE15 to choose a better Malaysia. Thank you Malaysia for choosing PH for the NEW Malaysia, a New Hope is Born, a NEw Struggle is born, and most important WE ALL CREATED HISTORY. This year is my first year voting and I'm so glad I went to vote, even though the queue was so damn long, weather is hot and so discouraging for me to just go home. But I stayed, for some reasons. I contributed, at least :)
When PH has won, I think a lot of us realized, including myself that Rakyat do hold the power to change the government. I'm sure PH will fulfill their manifesto because they're fully aware that Rakyat brought them up with hope, a lot of hope!
Of course, us Malaysians will need to play our part too, like you've written, no more races or religions discrimination, just Malaysians :)
