Update About the Tiniest Fighter

Do you guys remember the article I wrote more than a month ago about the Tiniest Fighter? Our patient who was born prematurely despite the efforts to bring it to term?Here she is now...

I just want to share to you that her battle is ceaseless. She's 1month & 12days old now and still under our care. But the good news is she's weaned already from incubator since she has gained weight from 700- 1060 grams. She's in a regular crib under a droplight to keep her warm and thermoregulated. The medications were all discontinued because of the improved condition except her daily vitamins. She already established good sucking reflex. However, we still continuously monitor her vital signs which is so far stable and she's now considered a grower. She's so active and cries well, to the fullest. For us, she has the most amazing cry. Like if she started, you have to attend to her needs immediately, like there's an emergency. Hopefully she'll continuously gain weight and reach at least 1,200 grams so she can be discharge. Almost there.
