Markdown? A visually attractive publication? How is it achieved? #ApoyoLatino

in #teardrops6 years ago

There are many publications about this topic but I @josecarrasquero the creator of #ApoyoLatino has released this guide in order to help your community mainly, but also to anyone who does not know or need to improve their visual quality in each post.

Publication in Spanish

Markdown?

It is a simple writing method compared to others. It has basic and summarized codes which help to write with a lot of quality, in addition with the practice they can be memorized faster. In steemit it is essential to draw the attention of the readers and even more of the curators.

Visually attractive post?

A publication is considered visually attractive when it is well organized with paragraphs that are not so long and justified, centered poetry, use of bold letters and italics, bullet points, line separators, quotations of texts, use of images or photographs, among others.

How to achieve it?

The visual quality of a post or a visually attractive post has nothing to do with its content, since the post can be garbage (harmful content, spam, among others) or on the contrary, something totally original and nutritious. To be a more complete blogger you must combine several things that may look very simple but in the end mark the difference between the immersed sea of daily publications. Ideas should be combined with good text writing, either by explaining a step by step or by writing a story, using good images or photographs, always using the sources or giving credits to the authors of the content that you have taken as support material and especially combining everything you want to express with the Markdown (where I will focus next).

Save the codes in the notebook to have them at hand when using them.

  • Encabezado:

Use the # symbol at the beginning of the header. With a single # you get the largest letters. If you increase the amount of # you get smaller letters. The limit is 6 ######.

Example:

# Header with 1#

## Header with 6#

Preview:

Header with 1#.

Header with 6#.

  • Separator of texts or lines:

If you have a text or image press enter twice to jump two lines, add 3 dashes and jump again two more lines.

Example:

Hello

---

Goodbye

Preview:

Hello

Goodbye

  • Bullets and numbering.

For the creation of bullets we must only place an asterisk * at the beginning of the text and give a space, so that the first letter of the text is not pasted from the *.

Example:

* The asterisk is detached from the first letter of this line of text.

Preview:

  • The asterisk is detached from the first letter of this line of text.

The same method for enumeration.

Example:

1. The same method but exchange the asterisk by 1. and so on.
2. The same method but exchange the asterisk by 2. and so on.

Preview:

  1. The same method but exchange the asterisk by 1. and so on.
  2. The same method but exchange the asterisk by 2. and so on.

  • Bold, italic, bold-italic:

1 asterisk * at the beginning and end of each word or text, gives us as a result italics.
2 asterisks ** at the beginning and end of each word or text, results in bold.
3 asterisks *** at the beginning and at the end of each word or text, gives us as a result Bold and italic.

Example:

*"If you're passionate, you're not wasting your time".*

**"If you're passionate, you're not wasting your time".**

***"If you're passionate, you're not wasting your time".***

Preview:

"If you're passionate, you're not wasting your time".

"If you're passionate, you're not wasting your time".

"If you're passionate, you're not wasting your time".

  • Quote texts or phrases:

This is very important and easy at the same time. We simply use the symbol greater than > at the beginning of the line of text to be written.

Example:

>"Losing time causes you to live life without projects".

Preview:

"Losing time causes you to live life without projects".

SeparadorA.jpg

  • Link creation:

The creation of a link serves us primarily to publicize the source of that image, photograph or text, which we are using as support material but which belongs to another author; in this way we do not commit plagiarism, and we act humbly giving credits to the true author.

For the creation we need brackets [] and parentheses (). Inside the bracket we put any text, in this case we use Source and inside the parentheses we paste the link from where we have taken the support material.

Example:

[source](https://medium.com/cryptomover/steemit-7ee2da4ffcc5)

Preview:

  • Center texts or images:

Simple. We will use this code at the beginning of what we want to center <center> and this one at the end </center>.

Example:

<center>#ApoyoLatino
The new healing and growth project for minnows mainly,
and all those creators of unique and original content, with talent or without talent,
but that strive to evolve in each step.</center>

Preview:

#ApoyoLatino
The new healing and growth project for minnows mainly,
and all those creators of unique and original content, with talent or without talent,
but that strive to evolve in each step.

  • Text justification:

We use this code <div class =" text-justify "> at the beginning of the text,
and this other </div> at the end.

Exapmple:

<div class="text-justify"> #ApoyoLatino: The new project of healing and growth for minnows mainly, and all those creators of unique and original content, with talent or without talent, but that strive to evolve in each step.</div>

Vista previa:

  • Text or Images on the left or on the right:

To put anything to the left,
we use this code at the beginning<div class ="pull-left">
and we close with this </ div>
To place anything to the right,
we use this code at the beginning<div class ="pull-right">
and we close with this </div>

Example:

<div class="pull-left">

So we complete this guide, remember to keep these codes in your notebook to have them at hand when writing a post. This guide will help you organize all your ideas to make a visually attractive post. Please, if you have new friends, you can give reesteem so that they can see and be guided at any time. Surely they will have more possibilities to receive upvotes, as long as they use this guide to accompany that original content and give it quality through the Markdown.
