Life and struggles for survival
The memories of yesteryears will forever remain
Tragedies of our past comes back to invade our lives.
The sufficient life we all crave for
seems to leave our midst for no cause.
Thoughts beyond human perception,
Thoughts of fear, thoughts of 'sweet tomorrow'
All enveloped in our hearts but we live in sorrow.
Life, they say is survival for the fittest
Coupled with attributes of hatred and bloodshed.
There's a place in us
where the sound flows from our inner hearts
like water from the cup .
Where the nitty-gritty of the day
seems to be compromised with hatred and struggles,
Where our hopes begin to shatter among us like broken bottles
Where the truth we live for are crumbled by our visions and mission.
Endless sounds from within
nurture and encourage us to go on with the aroma for the day.
This point in time deserves our call
Presence is my sanctuary and i choose to keep it clean
Nevertheless, justice shall forever prevail
God's not dead. He'll forever remain.
