iPhone tips and tricks guide reveals the best secret and hidden Apple features that you might not know about, as well as some cunning shortcuts to make life easier.

1]use the keyboard as a trackpad-Composing an email on a phone can often be fiddly, especially when you want to skip back and forwards through the message, tweaking it as you go.

2] How to quickly erase a message
If you've started to type a text message but then you change your mind and decide to say something different, don't bother mashing the backspace key. Instead, just give your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus a swift shake and you'll be asked if you want to delete the entire thing Easy.

3] How to change the feedback level of the new home button
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus feature a new home button, which isn't actually a button at all. When you 'push' it, that clicking sensation you get is actually just vibration feedback.

4] Make your phone flash when you have notifications
To activate the notification flash feature, go to the iPhone's settings menu. Now go to General, and then Accessibility. In here you'll see the LED Flash for Alerts entry - just give this a tap to activate it. Be aware of course that your handset's battery life will take a hit if the flash is constantly going off.

5]How to change the screen timeout length on iPhone
You used to be able to change the iPhone's timeout length in the settings menu, in General > Auto-Lock. However, the Auto-Lock setting has now moved into the Display & Brightness menu, which we think makes a lot more sense. Boost the time up to five minutes and you'll rarely see the iPhone 7 hibernate when you're busy using it.

6] CHARGE YOUR PHONE FASTER WITH A SINGLE BUTTON PRESS
Tired of waiting for your phone to recharge? Well, there is a way to speed up the re-juicing process, and it's surprisingly simple - just engage Flight Safe mode. By knocking out all your phone's Wi-Fi-searching, data-draining communication skills, it takes the strain off your battery while it's being powered up. Not hugely, true - but if you're pressed for time and looking to eke out every bit of juice, that extra 4% you'll add in 30 minutes connected to the mains could make all the difference.

7] LOCK YOUR CAMERA'S FOCAL POINT
We all know that tapping the screen while taking a photo will set the camera's point of focus, right? Good. Annoyingly though, every time you move the camera after picking a focal point, it disappears. Well, no more. Instead of just tapping the screen, press for a second or two until an 'AF Locked' box pops up. Now you can twist, turn and swing the thing around without losing focus.

8] Learn The New Way To Hard Reset
your iPhone was acting weirdly, the first thing you’d do is hard reset. Just press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button until the iPhone reboots. But because the Home button isn’t a real button now, the key combination for this action has changed. You now need to press and hold “Sleep/Wake” and “Volume Down” buttons.

9] Don’t Save Two Copies Of Portrait Mode Photo
When you click a Portrait shot, iOS saves a normal version of the photo, in case you don’t like the Portrait mode photo. But this means you’re using up double space. If you’re pretty confident about Portrait mode’s prowess, you can go into “Settings” -> “Photo & Camera” and disable “Keep Normal Photo” from under the Portrait Mode section.

10] Switch to 4K Recording
While it’s not turned on by default, you should know that your iPhone has the ability to shoot videos in 4K. If you’re shooting something at a party, in good light, try switching to 4K. It will take up a lot of memory but the footage will look amazing. From the Settings app, go to “Photo and Camera“. From “Record Video” option, switch to “4k at 30 fps“.

11] Use Your iPhone as a Magnifier
You can use iPhone’s epic camera as your personal magnifier, zooming way in to read things you can’t with your naked eye. To enable this feature, go into “Settings” -> “General” -> “Accessibility” -> “Magnifier” and turn it on. Next time you want to use this feature, triple click the Home button and it will show up.

12] Hide a Photo
o hide a photo, tap and hold on a photo, while you’re Moments, Collections and Years view or in an Album, then tap on the Hide option to hide the photo.

13] Note IMEI Number
On your iOS device, Navigate to Settings > General > About and scroll down to view your device’s IMEI number.
