It will also happen to you to receive a message from an unknown number on WhatsApp, or to deal with it in a group. What you may not know, though, is that there is a way, or rather there are several tricks, to quickly find out who the number in question belongs to, without having to ask embarrassing questions like: "Who are you?".

First of all it is good to know that many of the telephone numbers used for scams or for modest advertising are recorded and monitored by different sites on the Internet. The first thing to do and then look for the phone number on Google, and so find out if it falls in one of these cases. The search on Google could also give you less annoying and indeed pleasant results, if by chance your friend or acquaintance can be traced from his phone number thanks to the search engine.

If Google cannot help you, however, there is another trick you almost certainly do not know: try searching for the phone number in question on the Facebook search bar. If the company or the individual who is trying to contact you is registered with Facebook with its number, the search will allow you to go back not only to its identity, but even to its entire profile.
