In theory maybe tech can eventually replace all the political bullshit, but not for a long time. In reality, we're almost certain to cause our own extinction first.
Human beings are political by nature. They like to rule over something. Later some squeaky wheels got oil and then politics came into existence. As long as there are humans there will be some sort of politics going on but hopefully it will be in a more reasonable fashion.
