How can we wean ourselves off of oil and gas and head into renewable energy sources?
I have actually been thinking about this lately which has to do with the use of renewable energy instead of oil and gas. Non renewable energy are the major causes of pollution in our environment which later causes hazardous health effects in the lives of mankind, animals and plants.
Renewable energy can help solve the problem of pollution because there is less pollution involved in unlike the oil and gas which causes more pollution in our environment. Most of the health hazards being experienced by people as a result of environmental pollution.
Recently, there are now people and companies who now make use of solar energy to power their houses or place of work by making use of solar cells. I also heard some banks are making use of solar energy to run their banking activities which saves electrical costs and diesel costs.
I think our government should encourage the implementation of renewable energy to enable more people adapt to this kind of system . The main reason most governmental bodies or agents won't support renewable energy is because they are making money from the oil and gas and it will really affect their income if everyone starts making use of renewable energy.
In conclusion, there is nothing better than exploring the use of nature or natural means of energy unlike non renewable energy sources.
