The visibility is a key aspect in the safety of cyclists. based on this logic , the US company Lumos has designed a helmet with 48 integrated lights , 10 white light on the front side and 38 red light on the back side . However, the main feature of this essential accessory are its turn signals, which are activated remotely by using two buttons, 'L' (left) and 'R' (right), which can be installed on the handlebar.

The sensors of the helmet , prepared to withstand any weather condition, detect when the speed is reduced and then activate warning lights on the back.

Lumos Helmet App, allows you to control the battery level of the helmet and remote control located on the handlebar, as well as activate or deactivate the option of automatic warning lights, along with other functions.

The latest model of the helmet is compatible with the Apple Watch , which can replace the remote control located on the handlebar. After the installation of the free Lumos 'app' on the smart watch, the flashing lights will be on when signaling the turn with the hand. Also, the watch will vibrate while the turn signals blink and the user should wave his hand to turn them off.

On Monday, May 1, Lumos announced its collaboration with Apple, which also makes them the first company based on helmets that enter the apple store.
