Bangabondhu Satellite:Great Achievement for Bangladesh.
Feeling well to launch Bangabondhu satellite 1:
Bangladesh is going to launch her first commercial satellite in geostationary orbit. With this beginning, Bangladesh would be a prestigious member in space club. It would be a golden moment for us after successfully reaching it to intended orbit and starting the commercial activities. But, It should be noted that only one satellite can not bring global coverage.
Theoretically, it needs minimum three and practically more than three based on demand and services. So, We hope that a series of satellite will be available for us in space in the upcoming years.
It is my dream that one day we will use our own technology in satellite communications in the areas of satellite manufacturing, launching and controlling parts like USA, Russia, ESA, China, India and Japan. Now, it is time to stimulate our researchers, scientists, engineers and policy makers and to attract young talent engineers to fulfill our dreams. May Allah help us to attain the dream.
