This round, titled Big Brother's Got Your Back, is about ‘smart’ technology in the home, the challenge is to write a story set in the future where this is normal and society has adapted. The internet of things as a normal infrastructure around homes: that could be the fridge that orders more groceries, the alarm clock that tells your coffee pot to turn on when you wake up, or even the future Echo/Alexa who silently calls the police when she hears your codephrase. Let your imagination run wild in a world with devices throughout the home that monitor/react to their surroundings and can communicate with each other to meet the users need. This could be the focus of the story, or the background setting, where you go is up to you.
