I got nominated by two steemians for the #tenrandomthings challenge, @frejafri and @ireenchew. So I really feel like I should answer it and also I think it will be fun to do so. @ ireenchew also included a question that she would like to be answered. "What’s the one most inspirational moment in this world and WHY?" The challenge was created by @twodorks and her original post can be found here .

I call it, "10 random things". This challenge doesn't have to do anything with Steemit. Each person who decides to do the challenge will have to say at least 10 facts about yourself! Pretty easy right?! After that you need to ask one question and you have to tag that person to play along! Don't forget to use the hashtag #tenrandomthings so we can find your post! Since I initiated this craziness then I should go first!

So here we go!

1. I grew up in the countryside, right in the centre of Ireland. My family home was surrounded by farms. In fact we where one, of only a few families in that area who didn't have a farm. But our house was surrounded by fields where cattle would roam. For a couple of years, I had a group of cows that I used to hang out with. They would be waiting for me when I came back from school, everyday they would wait with their heads over the wall in our back garden. I would drop my bag and go hang out with them for a bit. My mum said she always knew where I was because she only had to look for the cattle and there I would be sitting in the middle of them, happy as can be. I have such a special place in my heart for this gentle and super smart animals and they were the reason I stopped eating meat 25 years ago.

2. I love to climb trees and I love to go for walks high up in the mountains. I find it very exhilarating to do both. However I have a huge fear of Ferris Wheels and the last time I was on one, was with my sister when I was 16. I got so upset, that the man who was operating it, had to let me get off as I was upsetting some of the other people. My sister was very embarrassed by my behaviour, but being up that high, on that ride really freaked me out and I was scared as hell. I can't imagine I will ever go on one again.

3. I never buy myself new clothes. I just don't need to, I live right next to a boat that was built so that people in the community could swap items of clothing they don't need or want. The only thing I do buy new is underwear and socks, which is understandable. I really think it is ridiculous the amount of money that some people spend on clothes and the fashion industry is just crazy, that whole world is so alien to me.

4. I get really upset when people just refuse to treat their dogs as dogs and expect them to act like humans. I have seen women push dogs around in buggies and in France I saw a women carry her 2 lap dogs in a sling, they were not even puppies. How confusing it must be for those dogs. I have also seen people put their dogs on medication to stop them barking. Dogs bark to communicate, that is what they do. I do understand that some dogs can bark a lot, but usually if you treat them like a dog, you can usually find out why that is. Because they are trying to communicate. I have seen dogs being so unhappy because of this. I get that some people may be lonely and they really want a companion, but this is a dog, please respect them for who they are and stop trying to turn them into humans and then get annoyed when they do not act like one.

5. I would love to learn to play the Cello, the Trumpet and the Banjo. I love the sound of the cello, how deep, that sound goes, I really feel it is communicating with us on such a deep level. I have a friend who plays the cello, she lives in a bus with her husband, and she visits here every winter. I have jammed with her and I also got to try out her cello and wow, I must say I really liked the feel of it in my hands and it took me to anther world once I could manage to make it sound okay. I also love the sound of the banjo an trumpet and look forward to when I can learn all 3.

6. I am a wee bit obsessed with Kale, I love to grow it and get real pleasure out of watching it grow. I love to juice it. I love to massage the leaves with lemon juice and oil and have it in a salad, with carrot, raisins, almonds, coconut oil and orange juice, yum. I also love to simmer it in coconut cream over a low heat with some garlic, for about 15 minutes, wow it tastes so good. It is a stable for me all year round and I am so lucky that is grounds all year round and is such a strong hardy plant.

7. I love to watch my 18 month old daughter run around the land I live on, naked and grubby. That's me in the photo holding her in all her glorious nakedness. (at a recent fundraiser for the refugee kitchen in Calais). Nothing makes me happier than seeing her being wild and fearless, climbing rocks and hanging from anything she can reach whilst swinging herself about. She is such a character already and my heart just bursts with love for her, well for all my daughters. She loves to make us all laugh and she is constantly entertaining us all in her own way. I am so lucky to have all 3 of my girls.

8. I hand wash all our clothes and I actually enjoy it, but more so when I get to do it at a river. That is not so easy for me right now as the river is a bit of a distance, but in the past I have parked up next to rivers and I loved being in the water washing my clothes, I also love to wash myself in the river. Getting to watch the dirt and grime from the day float away from you is so therapeutic. Just standing in flowing water is hugely therapeutic, what a great way to release what we need to release and feel it flow away from us, leaving us fresh and recharged. I also love to go to the spring and collect our drinking water, I have such an appreciate for this amazing resource. The energy it holds, the vitality when you are able to go to the source is quite a blessing.

9. I love how my cats say hello to me by wrapping their tail around my leg. I love that every morning they wait for me by the bathroom and walk back with me to my truck. I love the calming energy of cats and the fact that they are so independent. I have 3 cats , all 3 generations and they are all so affection we me and my girls. I love when they sit on me and purr, again how healing that is, that vibration wow.

10. If you have read my birth stories you will already know this. But during the birth of 2 of my daughters I mooed. The fact is if you are relaxed around your face then you are relaxed around your Yoni, and mooing is such a great way to do so and the vibrations form doing so is amazing. It is nothing that I planned, it just happened and I like to think that I mooed my girls into the world.

So there you go, there is my 10 random facts and now for the question

What’s the one most inspirational moment in this world and WHY?

The most inspirational moment in the world, is right now, because that is all that matters. What we are doing, what we are feeling and what we are projecting out into the world right now, that is what matters the most. I am not one to look back and of course I do have certain ideas of where I want my life to go in the future. But it is now that we need to focus our intentions, it is now that we need to start to implement change. It is right now that we need to tell and show everyone how much we love them. It is right now that we need to be playing our part in creating the world we wish to live. Right now that we need to be showing our respect to mother nature and all that we share this wonderful earth with.

And now I would like to nominate @vegan.niinja, @aware007, @mountainjewel and @walkerland. No pressure, but if you like this challenge please get involved and the question that I ask is.........

If you could do anything right now, what would it be?

I am SOOO with you on the dogs thing... every time I see someone wrap a dog in a coat or similar, I am like 🤦🏽‍♂️.

Also: mooing during birth... hilarious. I've heard of some whacky stuff happening in the birthing space, but that one takes the cake!

And the sound of a cello makes my heart sing.

Ah thank you @metametheus, yes let dogs be dogs xx

What a nice post! Thank you for sharing a little bit about you! We're the same, I have a phobia in rides well the ferris wheel. We had the same experience riding one haha lol I also like to climb trees growing up. I used to hang out with my brother and his friends cause I didn't have a friend that was a girl in our neighborhood. Did you know it has always been my dream to have a big farm, yes I want it big. Hehe well if I can just dream about one why not dream BIGGER! It seems like you live in simple place, if I could wash clothes in the river I would do it! hehe but as long as its safe! I'm scared of crazy people who pretends to be nice maybe too much watching movies! Lastly I love your birth story of your two girls! Anyway thanks again!

thank you @twodorks, yeah I really think it has to do with not trusting the mechanics of those ferris wheels, they are kind of crazy looking, out heights I have no problem with at all.
I hope you get to have your really big farm one day xx

I love this! I used to play cello for a couple of years when I was young, and I still absolutely love the instrument. Ditto to kale. I do buy some clothes new, but not that much, and I agree with you—the fashion industry is ???!!!

This was a fun post! I always enjoy getting to know you better. ;)

thank you beautiful, oh the Cello such a beautiful instrument, one day I shall have one xxx

Oh this is great!! I also love cello, and I did the same during the birth of Illay:) Your little one is so adorable how she is running around naked all over the land, she is such a power girl with endless energy!! Love to watch all the kids play here!! I will see if I can find 10 random facts about myself for this challenge, thank you, sweetheart, for the nomination!!

Lol, so cool!!! I forgot about that little pirate ship where people swap clothes... we got our little human's best sweater there one time! Say hello to the valley for us please 😁

yeah, I will indeed Senor, maybe see you back this way one day xxx

Thanks @trucklife-family, I sure do miss my cousins and now that we have this homestead build started I'm not sure when we will go next. We will need a break soon though, so who know... it could be sooner than later!

Oh I forgot the question at the end!
So nice post, I love that it starts with cows and ends with moo :)
I am wearing a tshirt from the "freeship" aka freeshop pirate boat, right now! :D

yeah you are the only one to mention that but I do love cows, thanks for the nomination, this challenge was a lot of fun xxx

The mooing is fascinating. As I do my yoni exercises and relaxation I have found myself also doing deep humming. It helps me connect to my yoni, and I can feel the vibrations also in my uterus. It's energetically stimulating and relaxing at the same time, and is very connecting.
I am on board with your pet peeve of treating dogs like dogs! I'm a vet tech, and every day I see confused dogs who are expected to be human. I think it's really sad, and many aggressive dogs I've met have actually just been really fearful, and as you meet the owners and watch them interact with each other, 9 times out of 10 the owner is attributing feelings and also Imprinting their own feelings, anxieties, and personalities onto their dogs. It's a pathology, I'm sure of it. But yes the dogs suffer for it.
Let dogs be dogs! They are amazing because they are dogs. Let them be who they are!
Thanks also for sharing a bit about yourself. Really cool post. 😊

thank you @thetreeoflife, mooing is great I do it now if I feel overwhelmed and it is so relaxing and yeah let dogs be dogs love it xxxx

I feel your obsession got kale... I grow it aswell and just love it so much!!!

yeah kale sister xx
