Do like Arnold Schwarzenegger - Visit Pampas Steakhouse in Budapest!

Arnold Schwarzenegger is an interesting actor, and also a politician. He is currently in Budapest, but he is not here as a politician, but as an actor. And to be even more exact, Terminator is in town!

Budapest is a very popular city for recording movies at the moment, and it has been so for several years. The price level is cheap, and you can record at great destinations for a much cheaper cost than other large cities in Europe. And now they are recording scenes for the movie "Untitled Terminator Reboot" which is to be released in 2019.

On November 1st, Arnold Schwarzenegger decided to have a great steak for dinner (I do not know exactly what he ate, but since he visit a steakhouse, I guess he actually ate a steak). He ended up in the restaurant Pampas Steakhouse, in the heart of Budapest, not far from the Grand Market Hall.

I have no clue whether or not he enjoyed his stay, but before he left, he at least posed with some of the staff in the restaurant, and the image was later shared on the Facebook page of Pampas Steakhouse (see the picture above).

And just to let you know... In Pampas you can eat traditional Kobe steak from Japan, and you can eat other fantastic pieces of meat. It is absolutely worth a visit!

Which other restaurants should you visit in Budapest?

If you come to Budapest and look for even more restaurants to visit, Pampas Steakhouse isn't the only one. There are lots of fantastic restaurants in town, and there are more and more restaurant that has one Michelin star. But, most of us do not really care about those Michelin stars, we only want to have an amazing meal with tasty food and good drinks. So, where should you go in Budapest to discover and experience such places?

You can start by reading on TripAdvisor and what they recommend. That is always a good place to start. But, if you ask the locals, you should for sure try to avoid some of the restaurants near Vaci utca. These are quite poor, in general, with a few exceptions.

One of the most popular restaurants in Budapest is Sir Lancelot, a medieval restaurant located not far from the West End citycenter. This is a shopping mall, and it is located next to Nyugati Railway station. This restaurant is full of action, and the food is served to you at giant plates and you can buy plates packed with food to 4, 6 or 8 persons. You will for sure not leave the restaurant hungry after eating all your food, tasting some nice Hungarian drinks, and after watching the sword fights and the belly dancing which are both part of the evening show in the restaurant.

What about some wine?
