The vultures are coming back from extinction borders
Even though most of the people have a vulture symbol of evil, environmentalists long ago recognized the bird as "cleaner" of nature. Eating meat of dead animals protects the balance of the environment. Protecting people from at least 40 diseases, this bird was almost extinct from Bangladesh. But the situation has changed a lot in the past few years by the initiative of IUCAN, a three-member government and alliance of international organizations for conservation of nature. The vulture's team has started to return to the sky again in the country's sky.

According to IUCN, 99 percent of the wounds from Bangladesh were abolished between 1990 and 2012. The situation changed because of the prohibition of two harmful drugs for vulture, by declaring two safe areas for them and forming a vigilant conservatory group. In the last four years, the number of vultures in the country is increasing steadily.

The deadly organism of the dead organisms consumes it before it is spread in the nature of the harmful germs. Anthrax disease is one of the risk factors for cows and human life. The only vulture is the animal that can digest the dead beef with anthrax. Tuberculosis and genital warts are destroyed in the stomach.

Bird Expert and Founder President of Bangladesh Bird Club Inam Al Haque said in the first light that the vultures protect the people from the germs that are likely to spread from the body. Now the vultures have decreased, the rate of spread of germs has also increased. The forest department and the initiative taken to protect the IUCN vultures should be further expanded.

The Forest Department and IUCN poll showed that in 1990, the number of vultures in Bangladesh was 10 million. In 2012 it dropped to only 550 Wildlife experts blamed the two drugs named diclofenac and kitofen as the main cause of the death of the vulture. These two drugs were generally used as antidote to several diseases, including cow fever. The remains of two of those medicines which remained in his body after the cow died. In the few hours of eating the dead beef, the vultures were killed.

In this situation, the Ministry of Environment and Forests banned Diclofenac in 2010. In 2014, the government declared 47,000 sq km area of the Sunderbans and Sylhet areas as a safe zone for vultures. In those two areas, safe food was provided for the vultures. The forest department and the IUCN formed a vigilant group with the local population. Seeing injured or sickle wounds somewhere, the conservative team members provide their rescue and treatment.

Forest Conservator of Forests and Nature Conservancy Forest Conservator of Forests Jahidul Kabir said in the first light, there are more plans for the government to protect the wounds. In high tree vultures, nerves. So these trees should be protected. In addition to the Sunderbans and Sylhet, other areas of the country can have a habitat of vultures. If someone sees it, then he asks the Forest Department to tell him.

According to the latest survey of forest department and IUCEN (released in October), in the country, now 10 to 12 vultures are increasing every year. In the year 2012, there are 240 vultures in the country. By October this year, there were 260. Bangladesh's initiative to protect the vulture is being followed at private level in India, Pakistan and Nepal. Apart from this, some African countries are also thinking of following this model of protecting the vultures of Bangladesh. In this regard, IUCN Senior Project Director ABM Sarwar Alam said in the first light that the number of initiatives of the Bangladesh government has taken place, the number of vultures nearing extinction as a result of its success has increased. In the few countries of the world that the vultures have survived now, they are interested to follow this preservation model of Bangladesh.
