tify">Ever since Karan Johar announced his next film Takht starring Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor, the anticipation among people to watch the film has reached to another level. Amid all the excitement, there were reports stating that Karan Johar wanted to cast Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh together for Takht but somehow it couldn’t happen.
tify">According to a source quoted Pinkvilla, “Ranbir has his plate full of Brahmastra which is going to be a three part movie. After that, he has Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera and Luv Ranjan’s next with Ajay Devgn. So he didn’t have dates to a lot for this movie. Hence he had to opt out of Takht, despite loving the script and wanting to do it.”
tify">Well, as we all know, Ranbir and Ranveer are solid competitors of each other. In the beginning of 2018, Ranveer Singh stunned everyone with his performance of Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat whereas, in the mid of the year, Ranbir stole the limelight with his realistic portrayal of Sanjay Dutt in his biopic, ‘Sanju’. Unlike, Koffee With Karan, KJo failed to bring these two handsome actors together.
