EL DULCE NÉCTAR DE LA DURANTA/ THE SWEET NECTAR OF THE DURANTA
Una tarde arreglando un poco mi pequeño jardín, observé a esta mariposa que revoloteaba al rededor de una planta que tiene unas bellas y pequeñas flores moradas (Duranta erecta) una planta muy común en México; la cuál tiene una fragancia muy peculiar; mi hijo dice que huele a galleta jejeje (tiene un olor a vainilla).
Me acerqué sigilosamente y me posicioné lo mas cerca que pude de la mariposa, pude tomarle varias fotografías sin apenas moverme, ya que estos insectos tienden a salir volando al ver el mínimo movimiento; con lo cual no suele ser muy fácil acercarse lo suficiente para tener fotografías macro.
One afternoon fixing my little garden a bit, I observed this butterfly that fluttered around a plant that has beautiful and small purple flowers (Duranta erecta) a very common plant in Mexico; which has a very peculiar fragrance my son says it smells like cookie hehehe (has a smell of vanilla).
I approached stealthily and positioned myself as close as I could to the butterfly, I could take several pictures without barely moving, since these insects tend to fly away when seeing the minimum movement; with which it is not usually easy to get close enough to have macro photographs.
