Good news from the hospital
As some of you already know from my former posts I wa diagnosed with Skin cancer. They removed a melanoma 5 weeks ago which turned out to be bad. After that I had surgery where they removed two lymph nodes and another piece out of my back, wider around the place the melanoma was at.
I had to wait two and a half week to finally get the results today. And you know what:
I am clean
There aren't any cancer cells in the lymph nodes or in the tissue around the spot. So finally my worries have been taken away. You never know untill you know for sure, but I can tell you.. These were the most frightning weeks I have even gone trough.
So now it's time to take a beer and celebrate !!!

I thought about you yesterday, and I wanted to ask how the results were, but then I realized that you may not have them yet until today. So I decided to wait until today.. This is awesome new of course, I'm very happy for you!!!

I am truly sorry to hear that you had to go through this... we had a granddaughter that had leukemia... three different types to be exact, so know that I F#$%'ing HATE cancer... but you have come a long way, and I am thankful AND thoughtful, that you have been given such great news!! Hi Wes, thank you very much for your kind words...really appreciate it and I am very sorry to hear you, your family but especially your granddaughter had to fight this terrible f!@#$ disease. It's often a unfair battle.... For me personal, and of course for my family, it were very uncertain times... A lot went trough my mind this past time and I can asure (but I think I wont have to tell you) it can drive a person mad.... But thanks to my family and the power of the Steemit community we pulled trough...

That is great news! I know how scary that can be. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow that I think is going to go really well given the blood test results I have seen already. The fear that it might have spread is one of the worst parts of cancer. :P
