2017 yılında Google'da; "nedir" kategorisinde en çok aranan şeylerden biri de "pestisit" kelimesi olmuştur. Öğrendiğim kadarıyla, tarımsal ilaçlamada kullanılan önemli bir "antimikrobik"tir. Zararlı böceklerin öldürülmesinde ve gereksiz otların engellenmesinde etkilidir.
