İstanbulu seçerek bir hata yapmış gibi hissettim. Yine eski kömür yakılan yıllara göre nispeten iyi olsa da, her hangi bir avrupa şehriyle kıyaslayınca içler acısı bir durumdayız. Ağaç yok, park yok, araba çok, bilinçsizlik hat safhada. Biz hala Ağaçları kesip betonlaştıralım. Geçen ismini vermek istemediğim bir belediye park yapacaz diyip parkın ortasındaki çınarı kesti. Mahalleli sadece bakakaldı, ne itiraz edicek ne hop napıyosunuz diyecek bir an bile bırakmadılar bize. Kimsenin aklının ucundan dahi geçmemişti, park yapılacak yerdeki ağacın kesileceği! İş işten geçtiğinde gittik ve sorduk neden kestiniz güzelim ağacı göz göre göre....

Gelen cevap: "Abi parkın ortasında ağaç olmaz gölge yapar, biz şimdi cevresine dikeceğiz" oldu. Tabi müthiş bir türkçeyle söyledi bu cümleyi. (yukarıda yazdığım, adamın cümlesinin türkçe meali) Sen 70-80 yıllık çınarı kes at.. Olacak şey değil.

Aslında hiç şaşırmamalı. Biz gencecik körpecik çoçuklarımıza doğru dürüst bakamıyoruz. Ağaç bizim neyimize...
