Karaağaç Tren İstasyonu -Edirne
Karaağaç Tren İstasyonu 2. Abdülhamit döneminde yapılmış. Yapımı 1914 senesinde bitmesine rağmen 1. Dünya Savaşının başlaması , savaş sonrasında Karaağaç’ın Osmanlı toprakları dışında kalması ve 1923 yılında Karaağaç’ın savaş tazminatı olarak geri alınmasından sonra ancak 1930 senesinde işletmeye açılmış.
Trenin böyle renkli ve bakımlı olduğuna bakmayın , hep acı taşımış Balkanlar’dan. Gezi rehberimizin babaannesi bu tren ile gelmiş ülkemize . Torununun tüm ısrarlarına rağmen bir daha bu treni görmek dahi istememiş.
Şimdilerde istasyon Trakya Üniversitesi Rektörlük binası olarak hizmet vermekte.

Tarihimiz bunun gibi onlarca savaş gazisi tren ve gemilerin anılarıyla dolu. Bunlarla ilgili anıları içeren çok güzel özgün; kendi fikirlerini barından postlar hazırlayabilirsin.
