Times of free trade and free market are over (Part 2)steemCreated with Sketch.

The American home secretary even made us laugh. He declared that the United States, with all the military force can and should prevent Russia from trading their energy (oil, and gas) with Middle East.
He said they "need to be blocked by US navy... to ensure that their energy can not reach the market."
::::::::::::::
Wait a minute?
Which ocean is between Russia and Middle East? :) If there is, I guess it's not even written on the map yet...
::::::::::::::

Declarations of a military blockade of foreign trade are politically irresponsible. It must be terrible for average person that the leading politicians afford such irresponsibility and allow the system to do so. There is no longer a brake against such destructive aggression and also suicidalism as we see it. But it's even worse. This is about the loss of a sense of reality.

How can one think that the Russians want to sell oil to countries which are living from oil sales?
To get into the Middle East just so they can trade with energy?

And more so, that the Russians, who have access to all those countries by land, would transport their oil around the sea to be blocked from the US Navy? This is not only irresponsibility, ignorance, and arrogance, it is confined to insanity.

Times of free trade and free market are over. In international politics, this was an attractive and effective ideology in the fight against socialism and communism. (Hint: socialism IS communism - and they both treat people as people, not as numbers. If you want to know more about this, listen to Richard D. Wolff ). But in the background of the functioning economic model, advertised by this ideology, there were few powerful corporations,central banks and ultimately.... the military force.

As long as the American economy was competitive, political power (whose core was the army) opened up new markets. Now their competitiveness is declining, and their army is closing markets to the competitors. So instead of free competition between the markets, we have increasing number of armies.

As long as we look at just what is going on with ideology, this is pretty interesting. But in real-politic relations it is very dangerous. Military blockade means war. The Russians said this quickly and clearly. But the American political elite is obviously thinking about it. They seem to be ready to challenge the war. It also appears that there are a number of blind people in circles who decide and think that Americans can win the war, even in the atomic war. These are dangerous illusions. It is clear that the army can not compensate for economic decline, but it can do huge damage.
