Basic Price Action Trading for Beginners

in #trading6 years ago

Price itself is the indicator that doesn't lie

Indicators do work.
Not all of them.
Not as good as one would want.

Just because all of them are price derived and math based, we may say that...
ALL indicators work.
Most if not all of them have no predictive properties, though.
All they do is show us something about what price did.
Therefore, it's only logical to assume the price is what we need to look at, if (almost) all indicators are price based.

Humans have a propensity to draw lines in the sand.
We're strange beings that look for order in a chaotic world.
Indicators are trying to put SOME order in the mess around us.

Price Action, on the other hand, requires a bit more effort on the trader's part.
It's less laggy.
It's more noisy.
It can offer greater rewards.
It involves greater risks.
