the case for cryptos, just spend £10/$10 and buy some steem, litecoin, dash or anything really.

Sometimes we can focus on the things that we have knowledge about (good and bad) for the majority of people I’m thinking that the sheep culture makes something to check out or not, they read the news, the hype, the spin, they see the hacks on exchanges, they see bitcoin drop from 20k to 3k, to the majority bitcoin and crypto currency and blockchain is probably a failure — they instantly switch off and don’t buy in.

And that’s a real damn shame because if they knew what it FELT like to take governance of their VALUE they might treat the way they earned that VALUE.

I’m constantly in awe of the way crypto works, swapping out ETH from metamask into steem, powering that up, sending steem out to bit refill in dribs and drabs to get internet data plans, sending and converting into litecoin when it had hit a bottom and doubled it in size, heck I even built up from blogging on a day to day basis over the last year, it’s not a lot but it’s more savings than I’ve EVER been able to hold with FIAT — that says a lot and I think if more people have the ‘experience’ of the removal of the middleman then they might use it more and feel the control it gives back.

Nothing better than playing around with mobile wallets, knowing that eventually I’ll be able to use those wallet to pay for things quickly and easily, it’s incredibly empowering and even If your not a ‘geek’ or a ‘nerd’ once you start using some of these tools to move funds around you’ll start to see why people love them so much — from the ‘chimes’ and ‘chings’ of money hitting your wallet and seeing your portfolio it gives you options.

And pretty much 99.9% of the time ‘it just works’ without issue, without a middle man, without a bank, no sales or up-sell from your line manager of the bank, no physical location, just straight efficient maths.

Just give it a shot, even if it’s just loading up a ten spot to ‘see what it’s all about’ -- send it around between you and a friend, check out the charges, how fast it is, how easy it is, then consider that you did all of that with no mega charges, across borders, across the world!

It’s awesome!

Yeah, just today I invested some fiat in steem, it's awesome to see how fast that happens and for very cheap fees, from Thailand to Cayman Islands (blocktrades) from there into my steem wallet in some minutes...
Unbelievable...
Have a wonderful day

Are you using coins.co.th in Thailand? I use them and like you say, it's a matter of a few minutes and it's in your Steem account. Coins spread isn't great but for convenience and ease of use it's incredible!

Hi,
no I use https://bx.in.th/ , never had any problems with it.

I've moved around small amounts of lots of different cryptos. Steem is by far the best, as there's no fees and its very fast. EOS and Tron have that as well but I've had problems with both of them. It might not seem much of a fee with Litecoin but when you have tiny amounts leaving your balance all the time, it adds up. I much prefer having some Steem powered up and then being able to make lots of transactions without losing any. I'm also making some by using my SP.
