The plan to reinforce the lines of the Ministry of Transport

in #transport5 years ago

The Ministry of Transport announced last Thursday (18/11/08) that as of January 4, 2019, there will be significant changes in bus lines in the Dan region .

The changes, which include the bus companies operating in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Bnei Brak, Ramat Hasharon and the Ono Valley, take place in the background of the entrance of Metropoline to Gush Dan.

As part of the changes, 10 new lines will be activated, from Ramat Gan to Ramat Hahayal in Tel Aviv, from Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv to the Shalom Train Station in the city and from Ramat Hasharon to the center of Tel Aviv.

                                  Details of the plan

Two lines will upgrade the Florentine neighborhood in south Tel Aviv: Line 13, which currently operates between the south of the city and the university, will also pass through the neighborhood.

In addition, a new line, 54, will arrive from the neighborhood to the Haganah train station and will pass along Yigal Alon Street in the city.

In addition, line 12 will connect the neighborhoods of North Tel Aviv to the university train station, while line 15 will connect the neighborhoods of south Tel Aviv to the Haganah train station and the market in Hatikva neighborhood.

At the same time, some existing lines will be improved.

Thus, for example, line 239 from Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv to the Peace Train will be reinforced parallel to the new line that will open as stated in the same route.

In addition, lines 204 and 304 will be strengthened from the Hatikva neighborhood to the Haganah train, line 122 from the center of Tel Aviv to Ramat Hahayal, the 128 high-speed line from Tel Aviv to the Kiryat Aryeh industrial zone in Petah Tikva, line 33 from Ramat Gan to Tel Aviv University, line 63 starting in Ramat Gan, And will reach Rothschild Street in Tel Aviv, and the 46th line connecting the central train to Jaffa will be improved.

It is important to note that the improvements will be accompanied by a comprehensive information campaign in preparation for and during the changes, which will include informational dailies at the starting and destination stations, distribution of leaflets on buses and advertisements in the media.

I wonder whether the special broadcasting day held by Reshet, which raised the issue of public transportation to the top of the agenda, led the Transportation Ministry to present this ambitious plan.

In the end everyone knows.
