Giant golden Buddha in Bangkok

We visited this really impressive Buddha on our second day in Bangkok. It is called Wat Pho, which means the Temple of the Reclining Buddha.

The temple complex is one of the largest in the city and is most famous for this giant reclining Buddha. It is an astounding 46 metres long and is covered in gold leaf.

I traveled around South East Asia and Australia back in 2007/2008 with my then girlfriend/now wife.

It was a trip of a lifetime and I loved every minute of it.

I am going to upload a photo every day.
