Saturday Trip to Tegernsee
Hello,
Today my parents visited us. Since we have the little one, my parents are often there. They live 1000 km away from us, but if they miss us they get in the car and drive over the weekend to us. They are in their mid-60s, so they're not the youngest anymore.
Because the weather was still right at the end, we drove to Lake Tegernsee. This is a lake, south of Munich, which is about 40 minutes drive from us. Nothing encouraging.
We had a very nice and relaxed day. I wanted to work but left everything. And it was worth it.
We had a wonderful time together. The weather was very good and we could go for a walk. At the end we ate something on a terrace by the lake.
When it was evening, the cold and the rain came and we went home.

heute waren meine Eltern zu Besuch bei uns. Seit dem wir den Kleinen haben, sind meine Eltern öfters da. Die wohnen 1000 km von uns entfernt, aber wenn sie uns vermissen steigen sie ins Auto und fahren übers Wochenende zu uns. Die sind Mitte-Anfang 60, also auch nicht mehr die jungsten.
Weil das Wetter am Ende noch gepasst hat, sind wir bis zum Tegernsee gefahren. Das ist ein See, südlich von München, der um die 40 Minuten Fahrt von uns entfernt ist. Nichts anstregend.
Wir hatten ein sehr schönen und entspannten Tag. Ich wollte arbeiten, aber habe alles liegen gelassen. Und es hat sich gelohnt.
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit zusammen. Das Wetter war sehr gut und wir konnten längers spazieren. Am Ende haben wir etwas gegessen an einer Terasse am Seeufer.
Als es Abend wurde, kam auch die Kälte und das Regen und wir sind nach Hause gefahren.

It is so soothing.. Hopefully you gave up working and enjoyed there..But I don't see people around, it looks infrequented, isn't it?
