Siegen at night
Hello,
last night, we had a business dinner in Siegen. That is a small town in the Centre-West part of Germany.
It is also 20 km away from the isolated hotel where I stay at the moment.
I was here the first time a couple of years ago. At that time I found only a portion of the old city palace with its gardens interesting. The palace lies on top of a hill where a beautiful scenery unfolds.
Now, I didn't have the time to climb there as the time schedule was very tight, but I got the chance to walk around the pedestrian area in the city centre.
I really enjoyed the walk, despite the omnipresent rain. I got the feeling that in this area it is always raining, with very tiny drops.
I liked the way the concrete banks of the river have been turned into a public area. Also the architectural illumination is great. I like this, even if we get some light pollution.
