what a beautiful and peaceful location that is! i see people wading.. but not swimming. is it too cold?
Normally Lake Superior stays cold all summer, but the last few years, it has warmed up a bit on the surface. A foot down, it's still like ice water. The surface layer water probably wasn't too bad considering all the hot sunny days we've had. Even when it warm up, it's still too cold for me, but there are some people that go into it anyway.
Wow this park really looks lovely! If I ever visit that way, will have to check this out! I love parks (I'm strange lol).
Yes, it's really worth a visit if you're in the area!
