Hello guys, today I will begin sharing my experience in living in Germany.
I arrived in the city of Cologne last night at 7:00pm German time to attend an exchange semester in Renewable Eenrgy Management in TH Koln University of Applied Sciences. I was picked from the airport by a student from Iraq, Ali Alluaibi who is studying my subject as well in the same university. The outside air temperature was around 10 degrees and it is raining continuously. I have had to put on my jacket, gloves and hoodie to stay warm all the time.
This was my first experience in riding an underground train. It travelled at a speed of more than 150 km/h and the seats on the train are very comfortable as well. It took us around 40 minutes to go from Cologne/Bonn airport to my dormitory in Deutzer Ring, Cologne. Did I forget to mention, this is my first trip to Europe!
Stay tuned for more of this amazing experience. I will keep you guys updated on my experiences for the next 6 months. In the next part, I will be talking about my friends and the people in Germany I have met so far.
