Downtown San Diego, Blues and The Loveliest Hotel Ever!
After a long week of all work and no play we decided going out for the evening was a good idea. Our friend’s girlfriend, who is a flight attendant, was in town so we decided to catch up with them.
As you can see we were very tired! We thought about staying in but we needed some fresh air after having a rough work week.
First stop was the lovely Westgate Hotel!
This is one of our favorite hotels and where our friend was staying. They have a great restaurant where we had some wine prior to heading out for cocktails.
Isn’t the decor just perfect!
Jason says I like it because it looks like a gold version of our house, I love it!
We club hopped for a bit, stopping for cocktails and music down 5th Avenue. Downtown San Diego was packed as it usually is during the evenings!
My favorite stop was at the end of the night at Patrick’s, an Irish type pub. They were having blues night and it was definitely a great show!
My friend flies out to London today, I’m sure gonna miss her!
All and all it was a lovely evening, being in the company of great friends is always good for the soul.
Today we have errands to run and groceries to buy. This is going to be another busy week for us!
Busy is good as this means we get closer to saving up for my surgery!

That hotel is really beautiful. Sometimes I wish I could live in such a place. I love their chandeliers and red carpet. Glad you all had a great evening. Sounds like a nice time out.
