Big Island Hawaii : 5 (Classic Hawaiian Beach)

When people talk about Hawaii obviously a beach or two comes to mind. Oh! There are so many of them. But if I think about a classic beach in the Big Island, probably Hapuna Beach will come near the top in anybodies list:

It is this gorgeous stretch of white sand right next to a green grassy beach park. I liked the grassy beach parks of Hawaiian beaches, I do not think I have seen them as much anywhere else.

Kids and rest of the family can have a great time here. Waves are great for booggie boarding. Also kids can play with sand all day. There is shallow coral reef near the beach, fairly nice snorkeling there.
