!!! A WEEKEND OF SKY DIVING ON THE BEACH !!!
3 of us heard of a place we could land on the beach after our skydives!
Then we found that it was only a 2 hour flight away from London, so that was it, we made sure the weather looked good, packed our rigs and booked a flight!
Out of the 3 days we were there, we jumped for 2 of them. On the last day it was 48 knots up the top, with a full 25 knot wind sock on the ground, so no jumping. But 2 out of 3 days is good, if you are a skydiver you know that your jumping is always in the hands of the weather Gods, and they can always change their mind last minute!
First time beach landings for all of us! We made a bunch of targets and had fun with it. Made some mini competitions etc. Jumped bare foot, and took some downwind landings!!
We all agreed SKYTIME.ES is our new favourite drop zone !
The facilities could do with some upgrading, and the price of a hop n pop is only 2 euros less than a max altitude ticket (28 euro and 26 euro), but these are the only cons.
The Pros outweigh the cons easily.
It is 1 hour from Valencia (VLC) airport, and the DZ can come and pick you up for 50 euros.
The pilot has over 10,000 skydives, and is the Chief Instructor, so it's always good having a jumper as the pilot.
The do not really do weather holds, they will warn you, and if you really want, provided you are experienced, they will take you up!
They are so loose! NO interference from the British Parachute Association (BPA) thank God, but with this in mind, you will need separate insurance.
Can't wait to go back!

What a beautiful place to jump. I laughed when I saw you take your sock off. Did that one fellow ever find his tennis shoe?

This really looks super cool. The fact that you were landing so close to water made me feel nervous. If it was my first time skydiving and using a parachute, I am afraid that I will unwillingly land in the water or something lol.
haha yeah we had to be careful with that, I was doing a cross-wind landing so the wind was running parallel to the beach ;-)

Yeah I know, I lost a shoe in England on a skydive...no idea where it landed, just hope it didn't hit someone! Although I'm sure we'd no about it if it did
