Sydney from the Birds eye View / Sydney aus der Vogelperspektive
Today was the day! Since we were not able to find a car/van which suits us we were forced to fly to the Gold Coast instead of driving, so that we do not miss our on our next Housesit.
When it comes to flying I always prefer to sit at the aisle, but today I had the honor to have a window seat. Just before take off I realized what that means...I can see the City of Sydney from above.
So it actually wasn´t just a flight from A to B it also was a scenic flight over one of the coolest and vibrant cities.
Heute war der Tag! Da wir kein Auto / Van gefunden haben das zu uns passt, mussten wir an die Gold Coast fliegen, anstatt zu fahren, damit wir unser nächsten Housesit nicht verpassen.
Beim Fliegen sitze ich immer lieber am Gang, aber heute hatte ich die Ehre, einen Fensterplatz zu haben. Kurz vor dem Abheben wurde mir klar, was das bedeutet ... Ich kann die Stadt Sydney von oben sehen.
Es war also nicht nur ein Flug von A nach B, sondern auch ein Rundflug über eine der coolsten und pulsierendsten Städte.
On the 1 hour flight there wasn´t much to see so I was listening to some financial advices for the money I don´t have!! If you haven´t read or heard this book you should give it a try!
Auf dem 1-stündigen Flug gab es nicht viel zu sehen, also hörte ich einige finanzielle Ratschläge für das Geld, das ich nicht habe !! Wenn du dieses Buch noch nicht gelesen oder gehört hast, solltest du ihm definitiv einen Versuch geben!
Then again, shortly before landing we had a good view on the landscape of the coast. Unfortunately not the Gold Coast as it is further north than the Airport.
Kurz vor der Landung hatten wir wieder einen schönen Blick auf die Küstenlandschaft. Leider nicht an der Gold Coast, da sie weiter nördlich als der Flughafen liegt.

Wie groß ist die Stadt, so wie Frankfurt?
Viel größer. Sydney hat ca 5mio Einwohner. Das auf den Bildern ist wirklich nur das zentrum und ein wenig von den nördlichen Stadtteilen.
Wer braucht schon ein Auto?
