GRANADA: arabic heart of the Spain - cuore arabo della Spagna

Finally in Granada!!!
The first step was to find a parking lot in the city near the house we rented. Although we had read many blogs explaining that parking is all for a fee and very expensive (18 euros for a day), we wanted to spend that money in a better way (TAPAS!). We are committed to finding free parking .... and we found it about 1.5 km away from the house.
During the walk we gracefully crossed the "Albayzin", the ancient Arab quarter in the heart of this Spanish city.

Here it's possible to admire a lot of little shops full of colored arabic lamps and you can relax by drinking excellent arabic tea in these places called "Teterie".

Found the house, we discovered we were at the "Mirador of the Albayzin"; the Darro river in front of us divides two hills that seem to be looking at each other.

On the first of these hills lies "Albayzin", while on the opposite side is the fortress of the "Alhambra", called "the red one", due to the color it takes when the sun goes down.

Finalmente a Granada!!!
Il primo passo è stato trovare un parcheggio nella città vicino alla casa che abbiamo affittato. Nonostante avessimo letto molti blog che ci spiegavano che il parcheggio è tutto a pagamento e molto costoso (18 euro per un giorno), noi volevamo spendere quei soldi in un modo migliore (TAPAS!). Ci siamo impegnati a trovare un parcheggio gratuito ... . e lo abbiamo trovato a circa 1,5 km di distanza dalla casa.
Durante la camminata abbiamo attraversato, graziosamente, l'"Albayzin", l'antico quartiere arabo nel cuore di questa città spagnola.
Qui è possibile ammirare un sacco di piccoli negozi pieni di lampade colorate arabe e ci si può rilassare bevendo un eccellente tè arabo in questi luoghi chiamati "Teterie".
Trovata la casa, abbiamo scoperto che eravamo al "Mirador of the Albayzin"; il fiume Darro di fronte a noi divide due colline che sembrano guardarsi l'un l'altra.
Sulla prima di queste colline si trova "Albayzin", mentre sul lato opposto si trova la fortezza della "Alhambra", chiamata "la cittadella rossa", per il colore che assume quando il sole tramonta.
NON VEDIAMO L'ORA DI VISITARLA DOMANI !!!
