A Moody Day In Krakow
Hi Friends!
Wow, I have had such a lovely day wandering the streets of Krakow. The entire city was socked in with clouds the entire day. Between the beautiful, old architecture and the grey skies - it gave the city a very moody feel. Perfect for exploring the city.
All of these photos were taken within a short radius of where Steemfest will take place. It is a really beautiful area with plenty of restaurants, shops and little hidden gems to explore.
I’m no photographer, but I love trying to capture emotion in the shots I take. Not just snap random photos, but look for things that stand out to me and try to capture their essence/personality.
Here are some shots from my adventures today. I hope you enjoy them.
I hope you guys enjoyed seeing Krakow through my eyes. I’ll have to check Actifit to see how many steps I took today - but I imagine it was quite a few!
Not quite sure what I’m up to for the rest of the evening yet, I may wander out to find some more food again soon. I went to an incredible pirogi shop earlier today for lunch that I will be sharing about here soon! It is a very short walk from SteemFest, and so I imagine they will see me quite a few times throughout the course of the week.
Oh and I visited several coffee shops today and will visit a few more tomorrow before making a post detailing a few good coffee shops that are close to the event.

💁Sorry I have not been on or posting much for over a month now other then playing Steemmonsters game lol! just very busy still trying to get our house finished so I can move , its taking much longer then we thought , its harder with no money and getting a lot done on the barter system! But hopefully in one more month i can at least move and finish the rest slowly but surely. Sending best wishes your way ! Enjoy Krakow and Steemfest my friend! Yes it's an awesome way to have fun and add more booster packs ,cards to my investment even if I don't win money. I finally got a Gold legendary Lord of darkness that I did a post about from winning 30 booster packs in the last tournament. I'm selling it for around 1,500.00 to help pay for hooking up my power. Anyways wish I was there too, and maybe next year Steem will pick up and I will see you then, ENJOY!👍✊😎😉

So cool! Poland seems like such a far away and mysterious place... and now you are there! I enjoyed seeing the streets, it must be exhilaration to be able to travel around with total freedom and seeing everything with no schedule or limits :)
Yes, that has been such a cool experience! Even though I do love traveling with others, it is kind of freeing to just do whatever I feel like throughout the day. :-)
I think for Steem-based events like this, I’m going to try to get into the city a few days earlier if I can. It has been so nice to get grounded, settled and familiar with the area before all the madness begins. :-)

Yeah I’m here suuuper early. Haha
The way the flights worked - The cheapest days to fly were either the night before the event, or about four days early. Since getting here early used the weekend, I didn’t need to ask much more time off work. It has actually been super nice, because I’ve been able to get over jet lag, and get settled in the city before everyone else gets here. :-)
I would have picked the same course too. Some extra days to enjoy the country is a win-win. Especially since I read the hotel prices are fairly reasonable there. I would have loved to go if it wasn't all the way in another country.

Surprisingly, no! This was midday. It seems as though Krakow is a bit sleepy on Sundays. Many of the shops were closed.
Coffee and Pirogies, that would work for me. Enjoy!

I've gotta ignore your posts for a few days or I'll get all jealous that you're already there and seeing the sights before me! Lol, j/k! Everyone's eyes are different😋
