Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @krakonos:

Basilica of St. Georg, Prague Castle. This is one of the oldest church buildings in Bohemia. It was founded in 921. It became part of the first monastery in Bohemia in 976. She has undergone many reconstructions - Gothic, Baroque ...
It is visited by a lot of tourists.

Pfuu.. Super detail ;)

What a great capture that is. Wonderful entry for today's contest. Have a great day.

Beautiful aerial view of a part of the Prague center and one of its many famous bridges. As you can see in the photo, the River Vltava gets quite busy with traffic in summer months as there are many boats and ships transporting tourists.

Old houses are prone to ˋanimalistic inhabitants´ — when staying at the Czech village Konárovice amidst historic flair I also came face to face with suchlike little friends :)
Caught to be freed in reasonable distance I took the liberty to take a photograph of my catch in the inner yard ~ the arcades and head-high rows of windows provide a wonderful contrast to the wee beast in the glass ~ 😄🌟 ~ !

:DD You met such a cool little friend!

Yes I was quite thrilled ~ haha...!...
And these were even more ˋswell´ —

Prague House of Invalides, main entrance, Karlín. Prague

This building was inspired by its Parisian pattern. Count Petr Strozzi, in 1664, left all his property to this institution. It was to be built and operated from this property.
The construction began in 1732. Finally, only one-nine of the original project was built.
With breaks, the Petro Strozzi Foundation existed until 1948, when it was finally expropriated by the state.
You can see the founder's bust in front of the building. From behind.

Old Town Square. Huge crowds of tourists, especially gathering every hour at the tower of the Old Town Hall. I think that most of those who have not even been in this deputy city heard the name of this square, or at least saw images of the famous Old Town Hall tower with legendary astronomical Orloi watches
