Hello fellow Steemians!

I am here with another round of my photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below. I host this photo challenge twice a week - on Tuesday and Friday.

You can submit your entries in the current round from now until Friday, 6 AM (CET). Please, don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

The best 15 entries of the round will be rewarded with my upvote. I will also pick the absolute winner of the round from these 15 photos and reward him with an extra upvote on one of his recent posts published on the Steem blockchain. The winning photo will be also featured as the cover image for the next round of the photo challenge to give the author some more exposure and publicity.

There were many great entries submitted in the last round of the Prague/Czech Republic Photo Challenge and I had a hard time picking the absolute winner. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @hairyfairy:

The town Vranov nad Dyji is situated 15 kilometres from Znojmo and near Austrian borders. It is favorite place among tourists because of the baroque chateau, the dam Vranov and beautiful nature which is protected as National park Podyji.

Congratulations, @hairyfairy! It is my pleasure to upvote one of your recent posts.

Thank you for your submissions everyone. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Without doubt Charles Bridge is one of the most famous and visited monuments of Prague. This photo is sepia tone of the bridge gives a nice and nostalgic mood to the image. The river crossing is also other usual touristic attraction of the city.

What great mood ~ 💝✨ ~

I am glad that you liked it. Thanks.

Not just like but love it ~ 🤗🌟 ~ It is such different atmosphere but very magical all the same ~ ✨ ~

City Usti nad Labem. After exploring the castle Vetruse, which is located on the top of the Orehovka hill, you can walk along the forest hiking trail into the depths of the hill to the observation deck, which overlooks the old Strekov castle. On the way, we will definitely meet the monument to the teacher and founder of the Gebirgsverein tourist club Aussig Karl Eichler (1854-1909).

The Přemysl Oráč ("Ploughman") Memorial is one of the most important places associated with the beginnings of Czech national mythology and the tradition of Czech statehood. The memorial complex, which has been a national cultural monument since 1962, can be found between Stadice and Řehlovice 8 km west of Ústí nad Labem.

According to the legends here at the time of Rudolph II. (1576-1611) alchemists lived. In fact, so-called red shooters lived here. It was the castle guard and the prison guards.
Small craftsmen lived here when the castle ceased to be a representative residence of the Ruler...

The chateau Bucovice is said to be the most valuable renaissance building in north direction from Alps. It was built from 1567 to 1582 by Jan Sembera and Italian architect Jacopo Strada. For almost 400 years there weren't done radical building adaptions.

Summer impressions from the ˋSecret Garden´ in Konárovice about sixty miles outside of Prague ~ 🌟 ~ Since we have such wonderful church as closest neighbor I was so free to enhance the reflection of sunlight to make it truly burst with shine and glory ~ 😄✨ ~ I hope everyone likes this fairytale-photograph that should brighten the lower temperatures of the present moment :)

The largest city of northern par of the Czech Republic is Liberec. The Town Hall was built due to the architectural concept by Viennese architect, Franz Neumann. This is probably the reason, why it reminds the Vienna Town Hall. The look is so similar.
